In the end, Chromium is not for everybody and its minimalist interface may take some getting used to. After Microsoft killed off Internet Explorer, they also switched to this codebase with their Microsoft Edge default browser. Some of the other browsers, apart from Google Chrome, which have been derived from this project include SRWare Iron, Comodo Dragon and even Opera's new-generation browser. To get completely off the grid, a better choice might be Brave Browser or the Tor Browser.
